BRIGHTON CHESS AND LEGO CLUB

Brighton Chess and Lego Club was founded in 2022 when a couple of home-educating parents decided to turn our children's shared interests into an official Chess and Lego Club. After a couple of quick meetings, we were on our way to creating something extraordinary.

At Brighton Chess and Lego Club, we are passionate about nurturing curious minds through play, strategy, and creativity. We bring together two timeless tools of learning - chess and Lego - to spark imagination, build problem-solving skills, and foster a love for learning in a fun and engaging environment.

Our sessions are thoughtfully designed to align with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) principles. Through chess, children develop critical thinking, logical reasoning, and strategic planning - core skills that support mathematical and scientific learning. With Lego, kids explore engineering concepts, spatial awareness, and creative construction, laying a beautiful foundation for innovative thinking.

We believe learning should be hands-on, minds-on, and love-fuelled. Whether it’s mastering a chess opening or building a Lego contraption, our club encourages children to think boldly, build confidently, and grow intellectually - all while having fun and making friends.
